SIDE DISH

 

BAKED ARTICHOKE HEARTS (US)
Hi: this is a receipe that looks fancy -- but it is really easy to make -- it
is something different from squash, etc. for your holiday dinner-Martha

Ingredients:

2 jars marinated artichoke hearts (can be found in the vegetable section of your grocers)
about 1/3 cup of Italian flavored bread crumbs (more or less)
about 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese -- you can grate your own or use any good brand of
prepared ones
1/2 stick salted butter

Drain the hearts fairly well -- leave just a bit of fluid -- pour into a
round glass oven safe pie plate -- pour the bread crumbs -- then the cheese
over the hearts. Dot the hearts with the butter.
Place in a 375 degreee heated oven and bake for 35 minutes

Enjoy!

You can also do the same with fresh mushrooms
