SIDE DISH
SCOTTISH SHORTBREAD (US)
One of Pat's favorites!
Ingredients:
1 lb butter
1 cup granulated sugar
4 cups flour
Directions:
Cream butter until fluffy. Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add flour 1 cup at a time and beat until fluffy. Pat into pie tins (or a 9 x 13 pan) and bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour until golden brown.
