DOUBLE QUICK DINNER ROLLS
Here's my roll recipe I use a lot. I like it because I don't have to knead
and they turn out pretty yummy.-Poet
Ingredients
3/4 cup warm water
1 pkg.active dry yeast
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 egg
1/4 cup shortening
1 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water in deep bowl. Add sugar and about 1/2 the
flour; beat 2 minutes. Add egg, salt and shortening and beat in remaining
flour. Let rise in bowl in warm place for 50 minutes. Stir batter down and
spoon into greased muffin pans. Let rise for 30 minutes and bake 10 to 12
minutes at 425 degrees.
