SAUCY MEATBALLS (US)
A quick and easy recipe from Pat!
**As a time saver ready made meatballs may be purchased.
1 pound ground beef
Salt (to your taste)
3 tsp. onion
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning or oregano
1 tablespoon flour or bread crumbs
Mix all ingredients together. Form meatballs and fry in 1 tablespoon oil.
1 small (approximately 8 oz) grape jelly
1 regular size bottle of ketchup
Simmer over low heat until sauce foams. Do not let it boil.
Add meatballs and simmer for approximately 20 minutes. Serve warm.
