Here is a recipe I *can* vouch for! Mind you, it makes your
arteries fur up, your teeth rot, and your waist expand, just thinking
1 lb granulated sugar
3oz butter / margarine
5oz evaporated milk
1/2 pt water
few drops vanilla essence
Heat all ingredients except vanilla essence in a large saucepan,
stirring pretty much constantly. Boil to 240C (soft ball). Take off
heat. Add vanilla. Beat. Cool on a greased plate. Mark fudge and cut.
Note: This recipe use British measurements, not American ones
(esp important re liquids, I think).
